My baby was so excited to get started. He could not believe he was starting Rod and Staff 3rd grade. He went off and did his work with no problem. I sure hope that attitude lasts all year.
Middle son reviewed some Rod and Staff work before he gets to go to Teaching Textbooks. I wonder if that will be a better fit for him? I guess we'll see.
My oldest is on to Algebra 2. I can't believe he is almost done with school.
So here is a short list of our school schedule:
Oldest:
Algebra 2
Apologia Chemistry
online college course
weekly volunteer work
Middle son:
Math-Teaching Textbooks
Science-Working on some lapbooking
Geography-Lapbooking different continents
Language Arts-All About Spelling, Pathway Readers, review of Ordinary Parent's guide to Teaching Reading then onto A Reading Program for Overcoming Dyslexia, Growing with Grammar and Writing with Ease
weekly volunteer work
My baby:
Math-Rod and Staff
Science-Working on some lapbooking
Geography-Lapbooking different continents
Language Arts-All About Spelling, Pathway Readers, Ordinary Parent's guide to Teaching Reading, Growing with Grammar and Writing with Ease
weekly volunteer work
We will be adding other things as we go into our school year. This is just a short list of what we are starting off with.
Slow and easy.

Awww, welcome back to schooling. :)
We have almost 3 weeks to go until we re-start our school year. I'm busy planning, though! :-)
We found Teaching Textbooks last year and it was a great fit for my daughter. We'll be using it again this year. It's a more expensive than others, but worth it for us.
I hope you all have a great school year!
